Another split last night and once again, the ML bet won thankfully. That’s two nights in a row in the black! Sadly the Mavs snapped my Grizzlies winning streak, but all good things do in fact come to an end. It’s not the last winning streak we will see from the Grizz this year. The Warriors got back on track thankfully and secured that W for me. Anytime they’re an underdog, I’m going to try and take it. One observation I made from last night that feels noteworthy is that all of the underdogs I thought about picking but was ultimately too scared to take covered: the Magic, Pistons, and 76ers. I’m going to go heavy on the underdogs tonight.

A couple of things to note: the weird thing about today’s slate is that there are a lot of teams facing each other on the second night of a back-to-back. I’m not too sure what to make of that, so tonight’s results will be interesting. I will not post tomorrow because Sunday is reserved for Football, therefore I’m making a few extra picks tonight.
Pick #1: $2.00 on the Toronto Raptors+7 (@ the Milwaukee Bucks) -110
The Raptors have been my team of choice this week with mixed results. I like them in this spot against the Bucks because they’re still under the radar and the Bucks are coming off of a big win against the Warriors. I don’t like that it’s a back-to-back for them, but they should be motivated to play hard after getting their butts kicked by the lowly Detroit Pistons.
Pick #2: $2.00 on the Philadelphia 76ers ML (@ the Miami Heat) +120
This matchup is against two teams I’ve liked over this week’s stretch. As I warned in the intro, this is yet another matchup between two teams coming off of a game last night. I like the 76ers as dogs and think that Embiid has an advantage against a Heat team with no one taller than 6’9. Bam is a problem, of course, but I’m hoping the strength of Embiid will carry this game to fruition.
Pick #3: $2.00 on the Denver Nuggets-4 (vs. the Los Angeles Lakers) -110
My lone favorite of the night is the Nuggets. This one is simple: the Lakers stink. The Lakers have not fared well against teams over .500. I have to think the Lakers are getting a few bonus points as a public team in this one, so I should be getting a nice line at 4 in what feels like a matchup that should be realistically 6 or higher.
Pick #4: $2.00 on the Orlando Magic+11 (@ the Dallas Mavericks) -110
Really leaning into underdogs I hate here. The Magic truly stink despite having some fun, young talent on their roster. Last night they took care of business against a hot Hornets team, which worries me that their magic *winks* might be up, but the Mavs also played a late game last night against the hot Grizz. I’m counting on the Mavs to overlook the Magic in this one, but I won’t be holding my breath.
