I only went 1-2 on my game picks last night, but smashed a home run with my +600 prop for Klay, KAT, and Randle to score over 19.5. They made me sweat it out for sure, but in the end, they got the job done. That puts me just $5.92 shy of breaking even on NBA bets to get my free jersey. I’ve got $37.20 left to bet, 13 nights to get it done, and a whole lot of optimism.

Today’s Picks
Pick #1: $2.00 on the Charlotte Hornets ML (@ the Boston Celtics)
First and foremost, the Hornets have been better than I personally expected and have played well as of late. They’re also going up a Boston team that has had a lot turmoil. Ultimately they’re probably pretty evenly matched, but I like getting longer odds on the Hornets to win in what should be a fun game on ESPN.
Pick #2: $2.00 on the Minnesota Timberwolves ML (@ the Atlanta Hawks)
This could be the classic case of losing to a team you bet against only to turn around and bet on them and they lose. Nevertheless, I am going to take them as slight underdogs to the Hawks. I made the case for why the Hawks should lose to the Bucks and they were 8 minutes away from another home loss before somehow salvaging that game. I don’t expect the same heroics here.
Pick #3: $1.00 on the Los Angeles Clippers+8.5 (@ the Denver Nuggets) and $1.00 on the Clippers ML
The Clippers have had a really strange season. No Kawhi all year and have now missed Paul George for a bulk of the season too. Despite all of that, they’ve been decent, hovering around .500 with some good wins and bad losses. They beat this very Nuggets team a few games ago, so I’m looking at them as a long shot to keep it close and maybe pull out another win. Sometimes certain matchups are hard for teams even though it doesn’t seem like it should on the surface.
