It’s been over a week since my last post, but don’t worry everyone, I am going to see this through. I was licking my wounds a bit from football where I am having a disastrous run and got caught up with some things at work, but I’m back on board and ready to earn this free jersey. I have to bet $16.60 more in order to achieve the $100 bet target by 1/31. I was in the positive once again after my post from 1/21 and am only down $6.41. For these last few bets, I’m going to leverage some higher odds to see if I can get lucky with my strategy and maximize some returns. That means I’ll be sticking with some underdogs and finding fun props.

Pick #1: $2.00 on the Toronto Raptors Money Line (@ the Miami Heat) +140
The Raptors have been one of my go-to underdog teams this month. They’re definitely a below-the-radar team and have handled themselves well as of late. Unfortunately, they’re going against my other favorite underdog team in the Miami Heat, but it felt like getting +140 on what could be a toss-up was well worth it.
Pick #2: $2.00 on the New Orleans Pelicans Money Line (vs the Boston Celtics) +190
The Pelicans have also been a team on my list to bet lately. They’ve really turned a corner since that horrid start to the season. There’s no reason to think that they have not shot against an only okay Boston Celtics team. No Ingram hurts for sure and if JV is out too, that’ll undoubtedly do this bet in, but this Pels team is better than the public thinks.
Pick #3: $2.00 on the Brooklyn Nets Money Line (vs. Golden State Warriors) +270
Chasing the odds with this one. There’s basically no reason to like the Nets in this one. I just think that a team with James Harden and Kyrie Irving on the court has a chance in any game. Additionally, I’ve been on or against the Warriors a lot lately and they’re definitely in a bit of a slump without Draymond. I’ll try to chase some yummy odds with Kyrie and Harden playing.
Pick #4: $3.00 on Jaren Jackson Jr. to score 20 or more points and the Memphis Grizzlies to win +225
With my last pick of the night, I wanted to find some fun prop bet for the Grizzlies game. It wasn’t an option to take them ATS on the second night of a back-to-back, so I wanted to find a relatively low-bar prop with good odds. Triple J hasn’t had the offensive game so far this season that he flashed earlier in his career, so 20 points isn’t a no-brainer. That being said, all it takes is JJJ finding the range and getting hot in any game to help him get that number. Then all they have to do is win, and this team has demonstrated it wants to win as many games as possible. No nights off.
