Intro by Sam
Wowowow! What a ride it has been the last few weeks. I’m on an absolute heater – unlike any we’ve seen in OLL history. With Week 11 picks and the Thanksgiving picks in the bag, that marks 4 straight posts of significant winnings!
Recap

Week 11 was a sight to behold. We clearly have a process thats working for us right now. The Cowboys, 49ers, and Eagles delivered critical wins for us. Both on the spread and as a tasty 3-team ML Parlay (I can’t believe I got away with that). Finally, I nabbed a nice little W when the Raiders covered in Miami against a sloppy Dolphins performance. Not everything worked for us, so there’s still some refining we can do. If it hadn’t been for a quintessential Vikings performance against the Broncos, it would have been an even better week. We also missed the TKOW by selecting the no-show Titans and the Lions lackluster performance meant they couldn’t cover against the Bears.
That being said, Thanksgiving was tastyyyyy. The Detroit Lions were the cranberry sauce, but someone added too much lemon juice, so things started off on a sour note. And while cranberry sauce is an excellent addition to the Thanksgiving meal, the staples didn’t disappoint. Let’s just say the Turkey (Cowboys), 49ers (stuffing), and the Pumpkin Pie (Miami) did not disappoint!
Week 12 Picks
The Collaboration:
The Buffalo Bills @ the Philadelphia Eagles-3
Yank: If our Thanksgiving Day results (and performance this year as a whole) have taught us anything, it’s that sometimes teams are just in a separate tier talent-wise and should be backed consistently. The Eagles proved they belong in this group in Kansas City on Monday night. I’m willing to back them every week no matter what the spread is, and I’m especially willing to do it when they are playing a weekly underachiever like the Bills. This one could get ugly.
Sam: Yank sums it up nicely above. The Eagles are one of the best teams in football, even if they aren’t as dominant as last year. The Bills meanwhile have consistently underachieved this season. They seem to be falling apart, so getting this line at 3 feels like robbery.
Sam’s Pick: $7.00 on the Eagles-3 (-108)
Yanks Pick: $5.00 on the Eagles-3 (-108)
The Pittsburgh Steelers-2.5 @ the Cincinnati Bengals
Sam: Division games are never fun, but this should be a beatdown. The Bengals continue to have the season from hell, losing Burrow to injury for another season. This puts Jake Browning in the captain’s chair. A few years ago, Browning was the 2nd quarterback for the Vikings all pre-season. He played in the pre-season games and got a ton of reps, and before the 1st week of the season, they cut him. He was so bad, that the one guy they kept in camp all year to try and make him the backup couldn’t cut it. And this is the guy the Bengals are confidently trotting out against TJ Watt and the Steelers defense… Good luck.
Yank: Another week, another Mike Tomlin defense against a backup quarterback. This week we have the added bonus that based on reports Steelers players seem to be fired up for an offense without embattled former OC Matt Canada calling the plays. Meanwhile, on the Bengals side, a team with Super Bowl aspirations is now forced to play out the string without their star signal caller. The bet here is that by the end of the game that little emotional gap is what makes the biggest difference. Several of these bets I made on Tuesday to work in some of the teams we liked on Thanksgiving. This is the third week in a row I’ve thrown the Steelers moneyline in a parlay with the 49ers to juice the odds a bit in a spot where I like Pittsburgh.
Sam’s Pick: $5.00 on the Steelers-2.5 (-110)
Yanks Pick: $5.00 on a Steelers/Niners moneyline parlay (+157)
The Cleveland Browns @ the Denver Broncos-2
Yank: Let’s start with the most important point here; this Denver team stinks. They are on a winning streak that has been prolonged by a ton of turnover luck recovering opponent fumbles. Frankly, that may continue here against the woeful Browns offense. However, the Browns defense, which may be the best in the league, provides too much value to pass up here as an underdog. I struggle to see how Denver scores more than 14 points in this game. I’m willing to take a chance here that Cleveland can score 15.
Sam: The first part of this bag is secured. Now it all comes down to the Cleveland Browns. The Browns have maybe the best defense in the NFL and have shown that they can score enough points to win any game. The Broncos meanwhile struggled to score against the Vikings defense, which is good, but not spectacular. The Broncos will have a hard time finding points, so we’re taking the Browns to finish this parlay off right.
Sam’s Pick: $4.00 on a moneyline parlay Browns/Dolphins (+149)
Yanks Pick: $5.00 on a moneyline parlay Browns/Dolphins (+149)
Tease Killer of the Week:
No identified TKOW this week.
The Confrontation:
No identified Confrontation this week.
The Isolation:
The New England Patriots-4 @ the New York Giants
Yank: These are the two worst offenses in the league by a wide margin. Don’t be fooled by Tommy Devito’s performance last week against the ham-fisted Commanders. Bill Belichick can’t do much anymore but he can prepare a defense for an undrafted rookie QB. Meanwhile, Wink Martindale is going to light up Mac Jones or whoever starts at QB for the Pats like a Christmas tree with blitzes until the cows come home. I seriously think this game may end at 9-7. Do not watch this game. Take the under.
Yanks Pick: $5.00 on Under 33.5 Total Points (-110)
