Intro by Yank
Well, I’m not going to sugarcoat it, last week our picks got beat as badly as the US Ryder Cup team. We had some good moments and made a few proverbial good shots, but ultimately it wasn’t good enough. Much like our own golf games, we are used to this and plan to fight through it. We’re back this week to take some more hacks.

Week 4 Picks
The Collaboration
The New Orleans Saints @ the Buffalo Bills-14.5
Sam: I said this at the beginning of the season and got away from it too soon. The Saints might be the worst team in the league and should be bet against every week. Thankfully, this also merges with our bet on the very good teams when they have high spreads. The Bills should deliver for us this week (and almost every week).
Yank: The Bills offense has been a juggernaut. The Saints offense has been taking on water. Sam lays it out clearly here, we like to ride the best teams in the league and Buffalo is no doubt one of them. The big number is scary but so is Josh Allen.
Yank’s Pick: $11.00 on the Bills-15.5 (-110)
Sam’s Pick: $10.80 on the Bills-14.5 (-108)
The Confrontation
The Baltimore Ravens-2.5 @ the Kansas City Chiefs
Yank: Let me be clear, I do not like this Chiefs team. They are closer to my Giants than a top team right now, as everyone got to see on Sunday night. The Ravens are coming off getting physically dominated on Monday night and should be poised for a bounce back against a hated rival. They are clearly more talented. All that being said, I am picking the Chiefs. The Ravens can’t help but blow games this year, and a team with Patrick Mahomes on it is still liable to take advantage. Until the Ravens actually do it and come through in a big spot against a real contender, I am going against them. Just wait til they are showing that graphic about 4th quarter blown leads again on Sunday afternoon.
Sam: I’ve made this mistake before. I just bet on the Chiefs last week, and now I’m betting against them this week. Point Yank. That being said, I still believe in the Ravens, despite the several reasons they gave me not to, and the Chiefs have given me no reason they can slow this team down or move the ball against them. I’ll take the Ravens to win by more than a field goal.
Yank’s Pick: $5.00 on the Chiefs+2.5 (+100)
Sam’s Pick: $5.00 on the Ravens-2.5 (+100)
Rapid-Fire Isolation Picks
Yank’s Picks:
$18.30 on the Los Angeles Rams-3 VS the Indianapolis Colts
$10.50 on the Detroit Lions-10 @ the Cleveland Browns
$10.00 on an Atlanta Falcons+1 VS the Washington Commanders and the New England Patriots-5.5 VS the Carolina Panthers Parlay (+264)
Yank: Lightning round here-betting against the Colts continues, and will continue going forward. Detroit is physically dominant, and it’s a huge letdown spot for a bad Cleveland team after an unlikely victory. Finally, Atlanta looked awful last week, and Carolina looked decent, but that game was a mirage. I expect some mean reversion.
Sam’s Picks:
$11.36 on the Minnesota Vikings-2.5 (-114) “@“ the Pittsburgh Steelers
$10.87 on the Detroit Lions-10 (-109) @ the Cleveland Browns
$11.00 on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers+3.5 (-110) @ the Philadelphia Eagles
$10.46 on the Green Bay Packers-7 (-105) @ the Dallas Cowboys
Sam: Continuing to bet the Vikings every week until I feel like all hope is lost. The Lions are good, and betting against the Browns usually works. I like this Bucs team. I think they’re tough, and while the Eagles definitely are good, they’ve shown some flaws. Finally, Micah Parsons’ revenge game and no defense in Dallas. Need I say more?
