Intro by Sam
Week 7 is upon us! Much like the Ravens and Giants, the season hasn’t gone according to plan for Yank and me. We’re hoping a players only meeting and our best week of practice will help stop the bleeding and get us back on track.

Week 7 Picks
The Collaboration
The New England Patriots-7.5 @ the Tennessee Titans
Yank: We have backed the Patriots a couple of times to great success, and we like them again this week. Mike Vrabel teams tend to play above their talent level and minimize mistakes. Tennessee fans should know this really well, given his time there. I bet he remembers how that ended and is willing to rub their nose in it if given the opportunity.
Sam: Vrabel back in Tennessee? “Be wary of a coach scorned” – somebody, probably. This pick is all about the revenge element. The Patriots are a good team, and the Titans are terrible. I do worry about the new coach bump for the Titans, but I’m not sure a coach can fix all the holes on that roster and the dysfunction in the front office in a matter of days.
Yank’s Pick: $11.00 on the Patriots-7(-110)
Sam’s Pick: $11.00 on the Patriots-7 (-110)
The Confrontation
The Indianapolis Colts @ the Los Angeles Chargers-2.5
Sam: This week’s confrontation was either going to be this game or the Vikings and Eagles. I opted to stay away from my Vikings this week, and instead invested in the main thing dragging Yank’s pockets down: Danny Dollars. He looks to have shaken the Giants’ stink off of him, and he’s going against a team that tried to hide their stench last week by snagging a win out of the jaws of defeat from the inept Miami Dolphins.
Yank: I am pot committed to going against Indiana Jones and the Colts. Is it a good idea? Who knows. But I am betting against them every week. This line makes no sense given the Chargers injuries and how strong the Colts have looked, but what the heck let’s just lean into it.
Yank’s Pick: $15.00 on Chargers-2.5 (EVEN)
Sam’s Pick: $15.00 on the Colts+2.5 (EVEN)
The Money Line Parlay of the Week
The Washington Commanders @ the Dallas Cowboys-1.5
The Atlanta Falcons @ the San Francisco 49ers-2.5
Yank: Sometimes the parlay logic is simple. Dallas’s defense is really bad and San Francisco’s whole team is hurt. Seems like there’s a decent chance they both lose.
Sam: The Commanders haven’t looked like world beaters this season, but their pass rush has been good, and Jayden Daniels is still a spectacular athlete, even if he’s going through a bit of a sophomore slump. Meanwhile, the Cowboys are what they are. A good offense, with a miserable defense. Their defense has about as good a shot at stopping the other team’s offense as a strainer has at retaining water. Meanwhile, the Falcons should be able to take care of business against the MASH unit that is the 49ers. If the Falcons are any good, this bet should hit. If they stink, well then we know.
Yank’s Pick: $10.00 on a Commanders/Falcons ML Parlay (+271)
Sam’s Pick: $10.00 on a Commanders/Falcons ML Parlay (+338)
Rapid-Fire Isolation Picks
Yank’s Pick:
$11.00 on the Kansas City Chiefs-11.5 (-110)
$11.00 on the Chicago Bears-4.5 (-110)
Sam’s Picks:
$5.00 on the New York Giants+7 (EVEN) @ the Denver Broncos
$5.59 on the Green Bay Packers-7 (-110) @ the Arizona Cardinals
$5.60 on the Kansas City Chiefs-12.5 (112) VS the Las Vegas Raiders
$6.00 on the Chicago Bears-3.5 (-120) VS the New Orleans Saints
Sam: I’ve been out on the Broncos since the jump. They looked like crap in London last week and decided not to take a bye. Give me the re-surging Giants? The Packers should be motivated to beat a team solidly for the first time in 6 weeks. The Chiefs are moving back into their usual place of “bet on them against crappy teams any chance you get.” And lastly, the Bears are playing the Saints. Any team playing the Saints should be considered every week, and the – dare I say promising? Nay, but things are happening? – Bears are a good time to catch them while the public is still out on them.
