NFL Week 12 – 2025

Intro by Yank

We have reached the point in the season where we are questioning if it even makes sense to keep putting bets down. Lady Luck has been against us; I wish I could say it was a new phenomenon. Never fear, however, no matter how much it doesn’t seem to make sense, your favorite blog boys will keep firing.

Week 12 Picks

The Collaboration

The Seattle Seahawks-12.5 @ the Tennessee Titans

The Atlanta Falcons @ the New Orleans Saints-1.5

Sam: I’m going all in on fading the Saints and Titans. The Falcons might not be the team to do it, but the Seahawks should be pretty motivated after losing to the Rams.

Yank: We are going to continue to bet against the Titans and the Saints, and there is nothing you can do to stop us.

Yank’s Pick: $11.00 on the Seahawks-12.5 (-110) and $10.80 on the Falcons (-108)

Sam’s Pick: $25.00 on the Seahawks-12.5 (-110) and the Falcons+1.5 (-108)

The Confrontation

The Indianapolis Colts @ the Kansas City Chiefs-3.5

Sam: This one makes me nervous. The Colts have been better all year, so why are the Chiefs favored? They also just lost to the Broncos, so will they be extra motivated to stay in the hunt? No one likes their pick this week, so we’ll see who stinks more.

Yank: I don’t think this is a good pick at all. That said, you can see the results of the picks I thought were good in the graph at the top. Betting against myself and against Sam is a winning proposition. Go Chiefs, I guess.

Yank’s Pick: $5.00 on the Chiefs-3.5 (EVEN)

Sam’s Pick: $5.00 on the Colts+3.5 (EVEN)

The Money Line Parlay of the Week

The New England Patriots-7.5  @ the Cincinnati Bengals

The Pittsburgh Steelers @ the Chicago Bears-2.5

Yank: The Pats have emerged as a true Mike Vrabel team, absolutely bankable against bad teams. The Bengals without Joe Burrow fit the bill. Meanwhile, Chicago stinks and has been trying to lose for weeks. Hosting Mason Rudolph feels like as good a time as any for their luck to run out.

Sam: Yank sums it up quite nicely. The Bengals are one of only a few teams that aren’t mid and are simply bad. The Bears, on the other hand, are firmly in the mid category and have stumbled their way into a few wins. That should change this week.

Yank’s Pick: $10.00 on a Patriots/Steelers Money Line Parlay (+188)

Sam’s Pick: $10.00 on a Patriots/Steelers Money Line Parlay (+188)

Authors: Sam Mattson and Michael Yanckello
