One Last Line is a sports blog hosted and curated by Sam Mattson and Michael Yanckello. Sam and Yank spend way more time than they should, investing mentally and emotionally in sports and sports gambling. Over the last couple of years, the two of them have gone back and forth on various takes, strategies, and principles when it comes to gambling. In 2020, they decided to write a post about their picks for NFL lines each week of the season to share their iMessages and various screenshots of tweets with the public. Know that when you follow along this season they’re the guys that are the principal supporters behind your crazy 3 team parlays that definitely won’t fail and the first guys to buy you a drink when they inevitably flop. As of the launch of One Last Line, the main program will be the NFL picks but may find opportunities to expand content in the future.
Sam Mattson – Expect Sam to have an opinion about any major sports-related debate. He’s an avid Minnesota Vikings (God help him) and a Memphis Grizzlies fan (Ja for life) but is constantly watching different games, reading articles, and listening to podcasts. When it comes to gambling, Sam is right on 100% of his takes and 25% of his bets.
Michael Yanckello – Yank finally won money on a horse race for the first time in his gambling life in 2020 and is hoping that’s the start of a massive hot streak (do NOT let him get hot). Most of his favorite athletes have either been traded or cut by Dave Gettleman or lost more games than they should have in South Bend, IN. Fade his sports picks, but not his Indianapolis brewery/restaurant recommendations.
